EURCAW-Aqua successfully participated in Researchers’ Night 2026, presenting its role, activities and resources and engaging directly with the public on aquatic animal welfare.
The event attracted more than 1,500 visitors, with around 300 people visiting the EURCAW-Aqua booth. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about our work and our science-based approach to supporting better welfare for aquatic animals in Europe.
The strong interest and engagement made the event a great opportunity to raise awareness of aquatic animal welfare and introduce EURCAW-Aqua to a wider audience.
